Which AI model can I use?

Choose a provider with an OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions endpoint. Configure its URL, model, key, and rates in OpenTabs. Local providers can work too. Domain view does not require an AI provider.

Is Free actually free?

The Free features of OpenTabs are free to use. If you choose a paid AI provider, that provider charges for its tokens. OpenTabs asks you to review and confirm an estimate before analysis.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed for Free. Pro requires an active license. Google authorization is optional and only needed for Drive sync; Pro can work locally without Google. Public Pro checkout is not available on this website yet.

Will it close tabs on its own?

No. You choose the tabs to close and review a confirmation first. Cleanup features propose actions rather than silently closing your tabs.

Can I install it from the Chrome Web Store?

Not yet. This release is available as a ZIP for manual installation in Chrome. Download it, extract it to a permanent folder, and follow the short instructions below.

Can I bring my projects to another computer?

Pro includes JSON export and import with optional passphrase encryption. Drive appData sync is optional and needs the same license and Google account on both devices. These services are still being prepared for public Pro access.
